(700 Bold "RELOAD SOFTWARE 513" message

Today, I did  a desktop download of BB Desktop Software, so I can sync, etc.  The desktop software asked for password for BB, which I have never had or used.  after 10 attempts it WIPED my BB and now the screen just sits there and has image of screen with line thru it and text says Reload Software 513...and it just sits there and does nothing for over 45 minutes now.  I fear I have royally screwed up and need to help to get BB re-booted and active again.  What have I done, can anyone help?  I have removed battery, let stand for several minutes and re-loaded battery..NOTHING!

Try to force the detection of the BlackBerry smartphone using Application Loader

No such thing as "application loader" on my menu for Desktop software and the Applications icon will not open since device not detected.

Are you using the latest version of the desktop manager?

If not, update it and give it another try.

Have done 3 times today, driver device successfully installled, still cannot edtect device cuz it is dead! I talked to someone at RIM and they said I would have to wait 24 hours for device to unlock before I can reload software from security wipe. Thanks fo rthe advice, kkep any suggestions coming, I am lost w/o my BB device today

oh wow, RIM ovverides anything I can suggest!  Thats good to know, didn't know about the 24 hour cooldown period.

This happened to me last night and all day I've been trying to reload as well. Thank you for the info. I will wait 24 hours as well and hope it works. Going crazy

were you able to solve the reload issue? After 24 hours and updates my DM still isn't detecting my device to let me get into the syste. The device manager states it is connected to my device so I know it is not the cord.

Any help I'm going nuts

BBSAK did the trick yesterday, couple of hiccups, but otherwise working well again.
