9000: Bold not starting/OS Re-Load not possible (Hangs at Connecting to Device)

[ Edited ]

Hi,

I have a serious problem with my Bold 9000. A few day ago it crashed and if I want to restart it flashes 4 times red. I tried to reload the OS using Loader.exe. The device is recognized PIN (EDIT) PIN is shown correctly on my computer, but UNKNOWN on a new installation of blackberry software. But if I click next, it hangs while connecting to the device (ARM) and the Bold starts to blink red. The blinking code is (EDIT: One Pause was to much) 10101111 if 1 is a red blink and 0 is a pause. Has anyone an idea how to get the device back working?

Thanks and best regards,

Flowke

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

These articles may contain something to help you get it going:

Please also ensure that you have installed, to the PC, BOTH the Desktop Software as well as the BB OS Package you desire to load onto the BB. Please also ensure that you have only one BB OS Package installed to the PC...sometimes, more than one installed to the PC can cause issues.

Good luck!
