I've seen some fixes for this error on other OS versions, but none specifically for 7.0 on the Blackberry Bold 9930. I was trying to download My Verizon Mobile and got this error.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,

That's an error with the file being download, it's not present where it should be.
That's a Verizon issue, or whoever hosts that download.

Hmmmm. I've seen other posts related to many different apps and providers, not just Verizon, so I don't think it's just a Verizon problem. I just haven't seen a fix related specifically to the Bold 9930.

Hi there:
I just got off the phone with Verizon tech support because I was having the same difficulty.
The resolution that worked for my Bold 9930 was to temporarily turn off my WiFi connection completely and download the app via Mobile Broadband. The tech agent told me that some apps require that you have a mobile broadband connection as opposed to a WiFi connection. Something to due with validation of the carrier network, etc. I don't know how true that is, but thats what I was told.
Anyway, I turned off the WiFi and downloaded the apps "My Verizon", "Verizon Ring Tones", "Skype" and "Google Voice for Blackberry" with no more '907 Invalid COD' errors. (YAY!)
After you have downloaded your apps you can turn your WiFi back on and it works great.
Remember, only some apps require a Non-WiFi connection. I think the apps that require this have some sort of direct link to your carrier. But I'm not sure about that.
I hope this helps someone. It solved my issue.

yes, exactly, because a Vodafone or AT&T user would be downloading "My Verizon" to their BlackBerry.
Glad you got it worked out, thanks for posting your resolution..
