Hi,
See, normally any BB battery charge lasts for 1-2 days(depending upon the use)...
Press the BB button n keep it pressed for 2 seconds, this will show the apps that r running in background...normally apps like Home,Call records,Browser,BBM n Messages should be there, besides these if there r any other apps, close them...Apps running in background consumes battery...

Twitter doesn't use a great deal of battery unless you have it actively running all the time. It should run "passively" in the background. Open Twitter for BlackBerry and select the Menu key > close.
Here are some good battery use tips, please read and you'll see that many of them will apply to you.

I have just purchased the 9790 and it is disgrace. I am having to charge three times a day. The battery is not up to servicing the phone and RIM know this but chose to ignore all the posts on this site and thousands of others.
Please don't double post and cross post in the forums. It's considered rude, and one is enough.

While on the home screen, please press the Menu key about two seconds. A list of icons will appear, can you tell me each that you see?
