So now, on your 9790, can you look at this for me?
Options > Device > Application Management.
On that screen, you can swipe left or right to go to the CPU usage screen. Do that.
On the CPU usage screen, let it sit a minute and note the top used applications using the CPU. What are they?
Now, while that is CPU usage, that also indicates what could be draining your battery.
- What are the top 2 or 3 and what % usage?
- What is your Operating System loaded to your device? Look at Options > Device > About, third line down beginning with a "v.6.0.x.xxx", What is yours?

If you click to expand that App section, you should see which app(s) are churning the CPU and likely which app(s) are draining the battery. Could be an active browser page open, it could be some app running in the background which doesn't appear in the AppSwitcher window, like BeBuzz, SixTools, or something you might have installed and you THINK is not actively running.
If you can check that... let's see.

I want you to do the following a couple times over the next couple of days.
While you are charging the BlackBerry, connected to a wall outlet AC charger, remove the battery a few seconds and replace and allow it to reboot. This is will re-sync the on-device battery meter with the actual battery charge. Sometimes they become out of sync, perhaps the device saying you have 50% charge remaining, while battery is actually down to 10%, and thus you may see short battery life.
Don't drain your battery every day to 10-15%, that is bad for these Li-Ion batteries and makes them last shorter in the overall life of the battery.
