the thing is how can I know in future if it been released , the web site doesn't tell any thing about it , but I have subscribed in the email service , but they send me nothing since my 9300 , I've re subscribed my email cuz maybe I've entered it wrong , but still they don't send nothing , that's what I meant by the question .

And the answer is the same -- it is not in RIM's hands to notify anyone. RIM releases to the carriers, and they control the entire process from there. So you must ask them (your carrier) if/when/how they will intend on notifying you if/when they release it (and don't ever expect anyone to tell you any predictions about the future...they just never say "we will release it in 3 weeks"...the best you can hope for is "we released it today".)

Beyond that, keep a watch on this thread (subscribe to it and the system will notify you of new posts within it), keep an eye on the official download portal, and keep an eye on the news outlets that cover this information.

Hello,

You can use any OS package from any carrier that is for your exact model BB. To do so, you must install the OS package to your PC, delete all copies of VENDOR.XML from your PC (you must find and delete at least 1, perhaps 2), and then use the Desktop Software to install it. This, of course, assumes you already have the latest Desktop Software installed to your PC...if not, then you must first install that before installing the OS package.

By doing this, your carrier may refuse to provide you with support until you fall back to the OS package that they sanction...but doing that is as simple as doing this.

I want to avoid problems , what kind of support do you mean ? , if its the BIS that would be a problem , so I guess I'll wait for my carrier to release it

All of your services should work fine (BIS is a service). By support, what I mean is that if you have any problems and call your carrier for help, they may say no until you fall back to their OS level. I'm running a Telenor OS on my 9860 now with absolutely no problems on AT&T's network.
