9900 Browser Issue OS 7

Is there an equivalent on the new BB OS7 to the old ability to switch from Blackberry Browser to Internet Browser etc.?  Previously, Internet Browser was not behind the corporate firewall while Blackberry Browser was.  It now seems that the default browser is behind the firewall and I can't seem to be able to change the setting.  Any suggestions would be helpful.

There's not a way to change that in OS6 and 7.

 

I don't think this has to do with one browser behind a firewall and another, in that all that is happening is the mobile browser was emulating Internet Explorer or FireFox, as you chose.Now, it should automatically do that. What was and is now happening, is likely that the website you're trying to get it is refusing the mobile browser.

 

Is this a secure website, like a banking or financial institution?

 

Of course, it's not working for you. I wonder if you can install and run Opera Mini?
