9900 Headphone Socket

[ Edited ]

I just received my new beats headphones and im very happy with them, however when i plug them in the phone keeps switching from headphones to phone and i cannot listen to any song through them. My old crappy headphones work in them but not my beats?

Any ideas?

Re: 9900 Headphone Socket

To add more information, my sister has the same - a blackberry 9900 and the beats headphones did not work either, there seems to be a problem with the phone as the headphones work perfect plugged into a computer

Re: 9900 Headphone Socket

If all other headphones work and the Beats model do not work, seems to be a problem with Beats model on the BlackBerry.

Re: 9900 Headphone Socket

Ok. And other models work perfectly in your BlackBerry?

I am not sure what to recommend here. Dump the Beats Headphones, or Dump the BlackBerry?

Its very odd,

I have sony earphones and they work fine however the music is very feint in the left side, but it could just be the earphones as theyre crappy.

My sister has a Bold 9900 too and it does the exact thing, yet the beats work with an iPhone and on my computer?

Im not sure what it could be? I've searched on google and a similar problem has occured, but for them it has been with every headphone they have put in the socket, hmm.
