9900 app world error 30702

I had one bold and it wouldn't let me log in to app world all it kept doing was going round and round in circles doing the terms and conditions I would press accept and then it would ask again. Anyway the one suddenly wouldn't turn back on again got a new bold and its doing the same thing. So I deleted app world re downloaded it from blackberry.com and now anytime you try to download anything, go into my world or payment options it says error 30702. Please help!!!!

+1

1. Installed latest version of App World.  (a problem in itself; required me to uninstall and then install from the web, since Upgrade method was ineffective -- with no error messages)

2. Open App World App

3. Click My World

get message "There is an issue with the current session.  Please login to continue. (Error Id: 30702)"

4.  Click Ok.  (the only button on the dialog.)

Found an ID setting page in Options.  Options > Device > BlackBerry ID

1. Click "Blackberry ID"

2. Page opens and dialog immediate appears, "Accessing Account Information"

3. A few seconds elapse.

get message "Unable to update your BlackBerry ID account information."

4. Click Ok. (the only button on the dialog.)

Found the answer on the post "Unable to login to your Blackberry ID account"

I took the Security Wipe suggestion, and it works again.

Re: 9900 app world error 30702

Has anyone found a solution other than a security wipe (2 hours of work)? These devices are meant to make our life easier, not harder! This **bleep** never happens with an iPhone! Does anyone from Blackberry actually read these forums to help people?
