Hi, I'm using the bold 9900 and I got it just over a month ago. Four days ago I noticed a thin black line flickering across the screen and I thought It would go away because the phone didn't drop. This morning, it became two thin black lines.

I have no clue how it came about or how to fix it and its really distracting. I updated my OS to the latest one and I also updated my BBM to the 6.1 beta. The phone didn't drop, the line just came out of nowhere.

i got the same problem today, only got the phone 3 months ago 
screen is black, but the keys light up, and sounds still work
sometimes the white line comes up too...

I just noticed the same. The black lines are all on the right edge of the screen and they don't go all the way across. They're maybe 0.5cm to 1cm, and there are several of them. Some are black, others are grey. You only notice it on a white background. I don't know how long it's been like that without me noticing, but of course now it's very, very obvious to me.

Hi, I also got the same problem with my Bold 9900. Anyone here has the solution for this? Is it a tecnical problem that we can solve or its a case of change product at the store?

I actually had to take my phone back to my provider, and my phone had to get replaced. It's a hardware issue
