9900 losing 100mb memory in a matter of days?

Hi all, 

 

I have a 9900 and it's got a memory leak, as said in the title, 100mb in about three days.

 

Here are the apps I have:

Shazam

DriveSafe.ly

Kobo

BBMusic

BBM

Wordpress

Evernote

Screencapture

Twitter

UberSocial

eBay

 

Software 7.0.0.439

 

Can anyone help with this please? It's becoming a problem as the phone pretty much grinds to a halt when the memory gets low and of course when I restart it, I miss phone calls...

Are you sure that you haven't got any apps running in the background?  OS 7 is supposed to be without the memory leaks that were found in the earlier oses.  If it is not an app causing the leak and you are sure it is the OS then you have a faulty phone and I would return it if it is still under warranty.  If not then you can try wiping the phone and reinstalling the OS using BBSAK (on a pc), its pretty straightfoward. Make sure to do a few reboots before reinstalling your apps.  Let me know how you get on, although your post was quite a while ago, did you find any other solution to the problem?
