I've used my BB in the sun with no problems until about 2 weeks ago when it suddenly started acting up.  Now I can't use it at all outdoors unless it's really cloudy or at night!  In the sunlight, or even in the shade of my body or hand the screen will just scroll like crazy up and down and I can't control it with either touching the screen or the track pad.  

I'm guessing I'm going to have to take it in to verizon and get it replaced?  Or is this a software issue?  I've not done any upgrades in well over a month.

It appears it's a software issue (in my opinion, at least).  Let's try a battery pull to see if that solves the problem.  Remove your battery while your phone is powered on then replace it.

Tried that (battery pull/reboot) again just now, no effect at all.
