Re: 9930 : the official OS releases

I am very disappointed, Bold 9930 OS is very late compared to Bold 9900 OS...

9930 (374) vs 9900(585)

Re: 9930 : the official OS releases

what did you expect ? 18 carriers sell the 9930, whereas there are more than 220 carriers that sell the 9900.

Keep in mind that the 9930 is a local version for a very small part of the smartphone world (USA).

Very cool. Thanks for this information. I can't tell you how helpful it is. I really like the part about Exchange active Sync in the manuals. Very informative. You would think after losing 60% of the market share the folks at RIM would be working tirelessly to stave off further losses and quit beating the BES

In 2 more years I can see Blackberry out of business.

A year ago we had 30 BES users. Not alot especially considering the cost of the BES server. Now we have 7. Of them when we deactivate probably 2 will be on Blackberries unless of course I have to waste three days figuring out how to set it up for exchange activesync.

Perhaps you could provide a phone number so that the guy that tears into me, demands immediate setup, and rants and raves like a child swearing and cussing whilecalling everyone idiots can give them a call. Please forward this to the upper mismanagement at Rim and get me a number I would love for one of those jerks to sit through his tirades which are so aggreesive we had to soundproof his office.

It is because of this up yours attitude by the RIM management that Rim lost our annual service contract. Which by the way amounted to about 2 calls a year or about $800 a call. In addition our BES will be removed soon and more licensing fees will be gone and they will never return.

To put this into perspective these guys are buying 1-3 phones a year and none are blackberries.
