Hopping someone here can help us with a problem we are having.
We are experiencing difficulty upgrading an 8100 to a new 9000
We have done the upgrade for several other users, but this particular user is not working.
Activation is failing, we have Set the Password, Tried another Handset, recreated the account, cleared handset data.
Just this morning we have
I have deleted User’s account from BES.
Wiped the Blackberry handset.
Transferred the SIM from the old Blackberry 8100 to the new 9000
Created an account for User in BES admin and assigned to the Group.
I set the activation password.
The device is getting good Wireless connection.
I have waited 30 minutes and attempted activation again with same error.
It gets to the Waiting for services message and then errors.
The error we receive is:
An error occurred. Please contact your system administrator.
There are no other details.
I hope someone can help us out with this!

I came across a remark about email forwarding in one of the Blackberry forums. I checked his exchange account and removed forward email to Deb Alexanders mailbox as well as to Mick. Awaited replication to all the servers.Deleted his account and wiped the Handheld one more time.Re-added and set the activation password.Initialised straight away.
