Adding and verifying gmail address to a BB9650

Adding and verifying gmail address to a BB9650. It seems impossible to do.  Same failure message keeps popping up. Anyone have any fixes?

Can you provide a bit more detail please? Do you have any other email accounts integrated on your BlackBerry smartphone? What is the full error rmessage you receive when trying to add your Gmail account? Are you following the steps in this article? "How to add / attach / integrate / email addresses with a BlackBerry smartphone on the BlackBerry Internet Service" http://blackberry.com/btsc/KB02189

After inputing info for email set up, all I recieve is "Update Failed!" I have tried this numerous times with no success. Help!

yes, hotmail and yahoo. The gmail account used to work till I changed my gmail password for security reasons. Then when I attempted to put in new password all I get is the Message "! Update Failed". I have attempted this more times then I would care to say. I will say it, at least 25 times.
