Hi everyone,

I changed recently my main Gmail account on my blackberry (from 1@gmail.com to 2@gmail.com).

I have a problem with sync'ing with my Address Book.

All my old contact are synced via 1@gmail.com

And now I would like them to be sync'ed with 2@gmail.com

I have discovered in each Contact Form there is a field Synchronizing using that is filled with the google account. Unfortunately you can't modify this field.

Is there an easy and quick way to mass-modify (the field Synchronize using) all my old contacts to sync with my new gmail account?

I tried with exporting from gmail and importing to gmail but I loose pictures of my contacts. I can't accept this solution because I have over 500 contacts and 90% of them have a picture.

So I am asking if anyone has an idea to resolve this problem.

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

 I would suggest completing the following:

1. Disable your Gmail contact synchronization.
2. Back up the BlackBerry.
3. Clear the device address book using the BlackBerry Desktop software. http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB05313
4. Enable contact synchronization for the Gmail account you wish to synchronize with http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB19270

Thanks for your reply.

But I have decided I am going to do it by hand and transferring between gmail account via transfering vcf files.

It's a real pain in the *** because I know have to redo all the links between linkedin/facebook and my address book. And also the contacts pictures. It would have been great to be able to mass modify the field "sync using"

So there is no real solution to solve my problem except wasting a lot of time by hand.

But I am going to post another topic for a question more than a problem about contact sync and pictures
