Alarm Clock doesn't always ring

 I set my alarm for 6:30 a.m., it may ring 2 days in a row or 4 days in a row I never know from day to day if its going to ring. It thinks there are other sounds playing so it will not play the alarm.   I NEED THIS OPTION . .

I am expiriencing that exact same problem, I would like to know if there is a way to fix this issue. I have discovered that if I set the alarm then turn the phone off, the phone will turn back on at the appropriate time and ring just as it should. However, I would like to know if there is a way to have my alarm ring with the phone still on.
