Alarm Not escalating!

Hello,

I have set my alarm on my BB bold 9700 and set the volume to escalating and it will not work

I have wiped and restored my BB and pulled out my battery. Still nothing works!

I have also tried trying different sounds like BB sounds, ring tones and music it still does not work!

Did you test the alarm functionality after wiping ......... prior to restoring from back up.

Try that for now, check if the issue still persits right after you wiped it.

If its working, dont do a full restore, use advance options to restore only information that you need. e.g addressbook, calendar, notes, taks, bbmessenger, content store...etc.

After I wiped my BB I tried it. And it did not work even before the restore.

Having the same problem with Bold 9700 with OS 5.0.0.602. Using default "antelope" alarm but it doesn't escalate. Also noticed the only key that will snooze the alarm is the trackpad!

 

Apparently this isn't the first time for this problem, I found on some other sites people complaining about this since 2008! Per some of the other messages I read. it was "fixed" with OS 5.0.0.5-something... The bug appears to have been "re-introduced" (if it was ever indeed fixed).
