I have set up my email accounts, everything work perfectly. But...
A few days later, I found that there is always an unread message (email) icon showing on my screen.
Even though I have read every emails and there is NO unread email or
Even though I delete every email
Even though I delete all my service books
There is Always one unread email icon on my home screen
So now I have to do math every time, 5 unread means 4, and so on...
Anyone can help?
Thank you very much!!

I suspect there is a message in your Blackberry Messages folder, which gets system messages. You may have it hidden. This folder is a different folder than your account folder. Un-hide it, remove the message, and then hide it again.
You were saying something about removing service books. Don't do that.

I have check all the hidden folders, but there is no unread mail in it.
Last time I though I found it, I even remove the all the mails or all the service books and re-activate them.
but still one message remains unread

Hi! i have had my bb bold for about 2 months and it worked ok so far. since i upgraded my device software online yesterday night, i have this "2 unread email messages" on my home screen and i can't get them away. I deleted all mails on my bold, i went through all mails on my original mail server to check if any were marked unread, and i reconciled all mail accounts i have on my bb a couple of times. doesnt seem to work. battery out doesnt work either. no stored messages on the device either, no RSS feeds waiting to be read, nothing...
any suggestions? it's a shame the device has these bugs, for the rest its working well....
thanks for any help!!!!! best, tobir
