Every day at 5pm, I get an annoying pop up message. The message only says "Featured App" across the top. It appears to be a solicitation for various apps. Everything from budgeting to making messages invisible for a "secret affair."
Its neither a text message nor an email, just pops up on the phone.
The only option is the download link at the bottom which takes me to App World.
If I hit the end button several times, it will sometimes go away.
It appears to have started when I upgraded App World a couple of weeks back.
Any ideas?????

It started when you downloaded some free application from AppWorld.
I don't know what app that is... do you?

As JSanders says, it will be from an app you've downloaded. Always read the complete descriptions, and scan the reviews. Be wary of any app in BB App World that has a note to the effect "this application offers in-app purchases". (Not verbatim, but you get the idea.) Most will be from reputable developers, but some bad apples will always slip through.
I would suggest looking through apps that you've downloaded recently, and perhaps removing one at a time until you find the culprit. You could also post a review against that app in App World, to make others aware of your experience with the app.
Hope this helps. ~ecm

Thanks for your response. I currently have only 4 apps. All of which have been installed for at least 6 months.
I have uninstalled 1 app today which updated around the time this started. We will see what happens.
