Hi dxb78

Are you connecting your BlackBerry to your home Wi-Fi?

Thanks

Re: BB 9780 WiFi connection drops every minute or 2

Dear,

Reset the Service book for Wifi might solve your problem ;

First turn off all connections such as wifi and cell signal.

a. Goto Options -> Service Books and delete the following entries (highlight and press del key)

1) Wi-Fi TCP/IP Browser [Browser Config]

2) Wi-Fi TCP/IP Transport [WPTCP]

b. Goto Options -> Host routing table and delet the following (highlight and hold alt key and press del key)

1) Wi-Fi [60]

Now in the service books page press the menu key and click `register now`, you`ll recieve a notification saying it`ll register when has signal or words to that effect (because we turned connections off)

Now remove battery from the device and reinsert, and After restart, return the connections back on, as soon as you turn them back on and the green tick shows.

Now do a Register Now using Hostrouting Table in Options.

Now Connect to Wifi.

Enjoy
