Transferred all my data from my old Bold to new Bold 9790 handset via Desktop Manager.
Next day alked into work with new Bold and it picked up and connected with Work Wi-Fi.
Bold then hi-jacked a fixed IP address for a Network Printer and put printer offline.
Disconnected Bold 9790 from Wi-Fi and the Network Printer came back on-line.
Deleted Work Wi-Fi settings from Bold 9790.
Then added it as a new Wi-Fi connection. Same issue.
Bold automatically allocates itself the fixed IP Address 192.168.0.40 and throws the Printer offline. The Work unallocted IP address range is 192.168.0.200 to 192.168.0.255.
(the "Automatically obtain IP address and DNS" is checked for the Work Wi-Fi SSID on the Bold 9790)
So if anyone can help - my question is how do I amend the Bold Wi-Fi settings such that it prevents the hi-jack
and dynamically selects an IP address from the unallocated IP range??
