I was using an iGO USB car charger for my DROID Pro and TomTom GPS and it worked just fine.
However, when I upgraded to the Bold 9900, whenever I plug into the car charger, my BB tells me the device does not output sufficient power to charge my BB.
I checked the specs for the iGo charger and found it only put out 850 mA of current, so I tried buying another charger that puts out 2100 mA of current. No difference. My TomTom is still happy, so I know the charger functions.
Now, I work in sales and spend 75% of my time on the road. I NEED a car charger that works or I lose touch with the world.
Is there software or a patch needed to enable the BB to charge off a car charger or what do I need to do to get a charger that is compatible with my BB?
