Weird. I tired that one and the results were even worse than what I got with the original battery (Japan/Mexico).
I just don't get it, what happened to quality assurance before releasing the device?

Update on my day with BB Bold 9900, Last night I turned the 3G off and put 2G only on,, I took my phone off charge this morning at 7Am, It is Now 19.47 and believe it or not I am 55% battery life left,, Because the phone is constantly roaming on 3G its sapping the battery,
I am happy to live with 2G until something has been resolved,

Update from me. My device was reset to factory settings, new software installed, new battery installed, less apps running. Same problem. Battery does not last more than 8-10 hours.
Returning and getting a new 9900 today.
My advice is to ask your service provider to pass you through to RIM technical supoport. They are really good. I have dealt with RIM technical support for this Bold and my Playbook and they have been great. I'll let you know about the new Bold.
