I have a bb Bold 9650 that has been inactive for about 6 months. I am reactivating it and I am having some problems. When I last used this cell phone my laptop was Windows 2000. It has since been upgraded to Windows 7. I have downloaded the bb software and it does not recognise the phone when plugged into the USB port. The laptop identifies the phone and the phone identifies the laptop but the bb software does not. I have fully charged the bb with my car adapter so that is not the problem.
I also do not remember my pin. Is there anyway to reset it?

Once you've connected, you'll be able to reload your OS, do backups, etc.
