BB Bold : use of GPS

I can't find the application. It was said it was included in the device. I only have in "options-advanced-GPS" latitude/longitude but no maps or anything looking like a usable GPS.

Does anyone know where it is hidden ?

That IS the GPS.

You need a mapping program to show you maps.. something different. If BlackBerry Maps were not included (should have been) use your BB browser to go to www.google.com/gmm and download their mobile maps. Its a great program.

but is it possible to download blackberry maps somewhere? because it wasn't included in my software i think

On your BB, using your BB browser > mobile.blackberry.com > Applications > Mapping > Get BlackBerryMaps.
