I downloaded the free bb spring theme application off of balckberry app world, however after I updated my bold 9700 to version 6, I can no longer access that theme. When I attempted to install it, it says I already have it installed.

I attempted to uninstall and reinstall but still it does'nt appear as one of my available themes despite a message saying successfully installed.

Please help.

This theme is for OS 5.

Are RIM ppl moving backward.....this new theme is compatible with OS 5 and not with OS 6

All themes have always been that way since I've used them. Backwards, no. Ask any theme developer. If you want an os 6 theme, look in app world or better yet, google is your friend. Lots of freebies out there.

These 2 themes from Blackberry support os6 for 9780 and 9800, not for 9700.

This maybe because the Blackberry Theme Studio package, on which the themes are designed and created, has just moved out of Beta status last week.

There are a few themes available in App world, read the description as most developers mention if the themes are compatible with os6 on 9700 or not.
