BB9700 charger and BB9900 charger - are they interchangeable?

I know that these two phones have different batteries (9700 - 1500 mAh and 9900 - 1230 mAh), but can I use the 9700 supplied charger with the 9900 (or vice-versa)?

i have the same question but im afraid it might damage the long term life of the battery, what do you think?

If it is USB you can use it with any brand and any type of device!
