Just got a message on BBM Music, saying to continue your free trial, untill 13 May enter payment details, then after 13 May we will start billing you. As your free trial will be finished. Makes sense but. How much is BBM Music in the United Kingdom. Plus, shouldn't it be free as we already pay £5 per month for BIS.

BBM Music has CLEARLY stated from the beginning it would be a pay subscription, pay application from the very beginning of its introduction. You should not be surprised, I know this has been clear, and if by chance you missed it, you now have a month's warning.

Not suprised and didn't miss anything. Just wantimg to know how much bbm music is per month, as this has not been posted and I can not find it anywhere. You wouldn't pay for anything without knowing how much it is first. Do you know how much it is ?

The monthly cost is £4.99. BBMM is an additional service to the standard BlackBerry service, the cost of which mainly provides a data bundle as well as the BBM and push email.

As I understand it the BBMM cost is to cover the license fee charged by the music providers.

So what your saying is. On top of the £5 rolling subscription for Blackberry Internet Services, We pay an extra £4.99 for BBM Music, is this right?

Yes, that's the case. As I understand RIM don't make much out of the BBMM subscription, it pretty much all goes to the music providers. 

The way I see it is £4.99 per month is 10p per track, to buy that track would be (for example) 79p on I tunes so I get nearly 8 mth use before I have spent the same. I have over 10000 tracks at the minute and have discovered music I had forgotten about and music I had never listened to and is now part of my playlists. So pretty good value.

Yes. It's a pay subscription. You have been given the service for free these months. That has been clearly stated by RIM from the outset.
