There is no "normal" battery life...each person has their own unique set of usage patterns, voice radio usage, data usage, app usage, etc. that determines what is "normal to you". So, you need to determine, based on your normal usage patters, what is "normal for you"...and then, when things deviate from that, you would investigate why.
The only "normal" I have learned of is that it is quite normal to need to charge a BB every day -- usually while the user is sleeping.
