I am not getting any led activity or anything but when i listen closely i hear a boot up sound when the battery touches against the wires in the phone...Any suggestions? wud appreciate ur help

First off, do this:
Leave the device to charge 2-3 hours, and then, still connected to the USB cable, remove the the battery from the device a few seconds and reinsert it. If it boots--leave it to charge to 100% (check Options > Status for the percentage).
If it doesn't boot--try using a wall outlet charger if you are not. If you are connected via USB to the PC, make certain that you have Desktop Manager (or the USB device drivers) installed.

I am not getting any red light when i plug the wall charger straight into the phone either and i went to bed with a full battery

Yea I did so now I have no idea wat else to try and i am in Jamaica so its gonna be hard to get it fixed

First, I don't know all of the details, and you haven't provided them. There could be a number of solutions for you.
If the device was purchased from your local carrier, withn the past year, you should still be in warranty. Exchange it for a new one.
If not, there are many processes you can attempt yourself.
One: You will need to use JL_Cmder to wipe the device and subsequently load the OS to the device. Follow the instructions here:

thanx for these steps and i truely apreciate it, a friend of mine said that he opened it to change the trackball while i was away so that explains why its not turning on but i dont kno what he did wrong in the process

with the back off i just realize that there is a flashing yellow light above the camera each time i insert the batter if thats of any help
