Gentlemen,
I upgraded my BlackBerry 9900 Bold to OS 7.1.0.694. After this update, the battery drains in a few hours. Before upgrading, Iused 2g network because the battery lasted longer. In this version can not switch networks, is always on 3G. The device heats a lot.
Any tips?

Tks a lot, however, after the upgrade, the option exchange network for 2g 3g disappeared. I went to option to choose the network manually, wait 100% load of networks, and after locating the network 2g, I can not select it.

Change your Network Settings to 2G:
Click on the Network Settings area on your home screen
Choose Networks and Connections > Mobile Network
Choose the dropdown box next to Network Mode and select 2G

it will depend on your Carrier on whether to provide 2G.

yes the OS in blackberry can influence your battery life I dont know why? maybe you must have power banks
