Re: Genuine BB M-S1 battery

Amazon has OEM  M-S1 batteries. Just buy from a reputable dealer, I have many times and never gotten a knockoff.

CarphoneWarehouse should have them as well as your local mobile store.

I had a look on Amazon and all the reviews for them aren't too great, most saying there worse than what they already have!

I presume Blackberry don't sell new batteries at all then?

Re: Genuine BB M-S1 battery

Yes, they do sell them.. I just gave you several retailers.

They do not sell them direct as a retailer, no. They are a supplier/manufacturer. Their official preferred online shop is shopblackberry.com which is out of commission currently (I suspect being revamped for BB10).

Again, I've never (out of maybe 12-15 batteries in 8 years) purchased a bad one off Amazon, and believe me the price of $8-10USD vs. $35-45USD in a many retail shops makes is well worth it.

You can also find them at other mobile stores (Orange, Vodafone, etc).

Re: Genuine BB M-S1 battery

Good deal, this one looks promising as a genuine OEM battery.

Seems the worst complaints that seller got was regarding the UK post delivery of the item, which the seller really can't control.

Let me ask a knowledgeable friend of mine in the UK where they would purchase... hang tight.

Thanks!

Thats my point all the amazon reviews are negative for MS-1 batteries! All are fakes and don't hold charge!

I'll hang tight!

It costs a little more but it's usually a good idea to buy from a reputable seller. I recommend stopping by a couple of cellular retail outlets in your area. If they carry BlackBerry at all, they will likely carry that battery.
