This is a great feature BUT it could be improved.

When you have Radio-Disabled in bedside mode, all incoming data and phone are disabled. However when traveling I like to have the phone available for emergency calls. Don't care about email, sms, etc.

There is only 2 work-arounds:

1. Turn of data in Manage Connections before entering bedside mode.

2. Create a profile that has all notifications set to None(off) except for phone.

I would hope RIM can improve on the bedside mode for easy operation to include/change the Radio-Disable option for phone only. Anyone care to comment? RIM, are you listening?

I think the best solution may also be the easiest... I just want to be able to assign a sound profile for bedside mode.  Those settings combined with the exisitng Bedside settings would get me all the options I need.

Yea, that would also work. Something simple usually works best.
