Black Line Bottom of Camera and Photos Taken

Hi everyone,

Others might have experienced this or currently experiencing it. I do not have time to go through all the posts here in this forum so I am making one.

My camera and the photos that I have taken was fine not until the second week of December when I notced the black horizontal line on my camera screen and the photos that I have taken. that lines goes from left side to  the right but it doesn't finish to the end of the right side, as the line fades as it approaches the end of the right side. The line disappears when I zoom once. However, there is no line if I do videos and no lines on the videos taken.

My phone is not on warranty anymore, so I cant take it to blackberry for free. Is there any way to fix this?

Re: Black Line Bottom of Camera and Photos Taken

Hello nareen17

Welcome to the forums.

In this case we can try to reload the software on the BlackBerry® smartphone to make sure it is running the latest version and there are no issues with the OS.

Here is how to backup your BlackBerry smartphone http://bbry.lv/oPVWXc

Once you have backed up your BlackBerry smartphone please follow the link below to complete a clean reload of the BlackBerry smartphone software.

Link: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB03621

Once completed test it and proceed with a selective restore, here is how to restore http://bbry.lv/qgQxLo

If doing the above steps does not correct your issue then it would appear to be a hardware issue and you will want to contact your mobile service provider or point of sale for repair options.
