BlackBerry Bold 9900 disconnects with any bluetooth (but call continues)

Purchased a Jawbone Icon earpiece and this was after using a Plantronic earpiece. The initial problem was the Blackberry would constatly disconnect from the call. I thought the Jawbone would resolve this, now a call comes in and the Jawbone tells me who it is and I answer the call then the Blackberry disconnects and the person on the other end is still talking but I cannot hear. This is not a problem only with Jawbone because the same thing happened with the Plantronic.

 

I upgraded the firmware to 7.1 Bundle 2435
 any ideas?

Thanks for the question.

 

Have you always had this issue since you owned the BlackBerry Bold 9900 smartphone?  I would suggest removing all the saved Bluetooth connections and then try to only the Jawbone and then test.  Do you also have 3rd party applications installed?

I tried it and it is the same. I could be on the phone and will get disconnected while the person is still talking. The only apps I have are SplashID and a teamviewr chat app.
