BlackBerry Messenger problem

Hello,
Sorry for my english, i live in Germany :smileywink:

My problem is, that i don't be able to download the BBM. If i go in the AppWorld, it tell me, that the app is not available for my device (Bold 9900).
What is the problem?

Welcome to BlackBerry Support Forums

 

If you're having problem with downloading or updating BlackBerry Messenger then please try this :

 

On your Device Homescreen Go to Options > Device > Application Management > locate and delete BlackBerry App world from that list .

 

KB10040  :How to view or remove installed application on a blackberry smartphone

 

Once deleted perform a battery pull restart by removing the battery whiel your device is Powered On, wait for a min. then reinsert it back .Finally after reboot use your BlackBerry browser and browse to www.blackberry.com/bbmdownload and download the most recent version available for your device.

 

I assume you already have BIS on your account , try it and let us know .

I have deleted the App World. But if i go on the adress, which you post in your answer i get the message, that the page not exist. Cause this I search alone for this page, if i go then on "Download" i get a withe screen, if i refresh then, i get the message, that the page don't exist again.

Do you have a BlackBerry data Plan / BIS on your account from your Carrier or Network Service Provider ?

To use most BlackBerry applications like BBM , email services , Internet browser and many more we need a specific  BlackBerry Data Plan also known as BIS from our Network Service Provider , do you have it in your account !

 

On your Homescreen Go to Manage Connection > Service Status > BlackBerry Internet Sservices = what is the status now ?

That's the reason you're having problem with BBM , if you don't have BIS on your account then please contact your Carrier to activate it .Once those BlackBerry data plans are activated you won't have any issue with BlackBerry applications .
