Blackberry 9700 wont switch on

I have a blackberry 9700  I've had it for 16 months now. I would say its in the best condition but it  was working fine until all of a sudden it switched off. I tried taking out the battery it didn't work I bought a new battery that was fully charged and still nothing happened not even the red light. I have put on charge for a about 1 hour or more some times for the past 4 days and still there isn't any responds. I have taken the battery out for a few hours as well and placed into the phone again and still nothing. Does any one have a solution or ideas they could give me to get my phone working again :smileyvery-happy: thanks

Try connecting the device to your PC over USB, with the devices battery removed. Hopefully you'll get a prompt to update, retry or cancel - select update to reload BB device software to your device,

Note if your dont have blackberry desktop software installed do that first!
