Blackberry 9900 and 9320

Good afternoon,

I have recently purchased at Blackberry 9900 and my wife a Blackberry 9320 of which we are very happy with.

Today our service provider has advised its customers that they are looking at upgrading to 4G. Both of our handsets are unlocked.

Could anyone please advise if these handsets are compatible with 4G please?

Thank you.

Regards.

Re: Blackberry 9900 and 9320

Hello...and apologies for the delayed reply!

Hopefully you already have this sorted out...but just in case.

Like so many technology items, "4G" can mean different things to different carriers. As such, the best place for you to receive an answer is from your mobile service provider...they would need to compare the hardware specs of the devices against the specific "4G" implementation that they intend. If you purchased your BBs from your carrier, then they definitely should be able to answer your question...if you, on the other hand, purchased your devices elsewhere, then obtaining your answer may prove more problematic.

Good luck!

Re: Blackberry 9900 and 9320

Thank you for your reply. It would appear at this stage that both our devices will not be compatable with 4G.

Re: Blackberry 9900 and 9320

That is a shame. But, there are indeed too many different technologies in our world, and it's just impossible for the handset makers to accommodate all technologies in any one handset yet still keep it's physical size within reasonable limits.

Good luck!
