Blackberry 9900 keypad backlight not coming on

The backlight on the keypad of my blackberry Bold 9900 is not coming on at all, only the scratchpads light goes on otherwise the rest is dead.

Wish I had that problem. Mine is the oposite, the **bleep** light will not turn off. I can turn it off but it comes back on. Draining.

Hi,

On your smartphone, please select the Options icon and choose Display. You can adjust the backlight brightness and timeout settings on this screen.

Or have a look on URL and perform suggested steps...

You don't seem to understand the problem the keypad backlite is not working it is a brand new device

I would suggest you to get it checked it at servcie center...!!
