Basically I was downloading an application through the App World software. Once the download was complete, a message popped up that said "Installing..." Over half an hour later, the message was still on screen and no amount of button pressing would get the phone to respond. So I pull out the battery, wait a few seconds, then plug it back in. The red indicator light didn't turn on, so I pressed the power button. Then pressed and held it, nothing.
I tried removing the battery and using just the wall charger yet the phone still won't turn on. Trying the wall charger will the battery provided the same results.
At this point I am pretty sure that the phone is toast yet I am hoping these forums can provide me with a solution.
The phone was purchased over Ebay and has been functioning for several months now, so I can't return it to the seller. Will my warranty with RIM still be intact? Will AT&T charge me to fix the phone or replace it?
An advance thanks for any help offered.

I was hoping that there may be an alternative yet. I'm trying to save that as a last option >.<

Well after having the battery out of the phone the entire night I decided to see if I could get it to work.
I first plugged in the wall charger without the battery and the red LED lit up, then the phone powered on. Did a full power off, installed the battery and the SIM and my phone is working again.
Still have no clue as to what happened but it works so I'm not complaining.
