I am unable to open my contacts icon after sending it to the service centre. My software was recently reloaded after error 102. All else is fine only the contacts folder is not opening on home screen.

Are you still having the issue with your BlackBerry® Bold™ 9900 smartphone contacts application? If so and removing and reinserting the battery hasn't helped, I would recommend backing up and clearing your Contacts database and testing without restoring from backup. If this doesn't resolve the issue, I would advise performing another clean reload of your BlackBerry® Device Software. For further instructions, please see the following KB articles.

Please test to make sure the issue has been resolved before restoring any data from your backup file.
