hi, my blackberry bold turned off after being charged one day and won't turn on. i tried taking the battery out and plugging it in, but it refuses to turn on or even show any light on the screen. when its plugged in and charged, the red lights blinks for a few seconds about every other minute. i just bought the phone a month ago and there has been no damage to it. thanks!

Hm, same problem here. I had spent 7 hours and no solution found. Please let me know if you have any solution.
Thanks,

Hi - I too am having the same problem.
This is the second time I will have to go back to the carrier with the same issue.
The first time they replaced my phone. I am guessing - I will have to do the same thing again?
Sorry BB, I am horribly disappointed with this phone. frustrating part is that it is extremely slow, can't access YouTube effeciently, FB slow. Best thing is my email access and QWerty Keyboard. I have acrylic nails which sorely limts my selection.
Will definately think twice about what to do. Shame that I am still in contract with this phone. Terribly frustrated and upset. I really don't like going without a phone - but I guess it will be another 2 - 3 weeks without one.
Any support would be appreciated.

Yahoooooo!!!!! Blackberry Bold 9700 Started Working Once Again
I was very upset for last few months as my BB 9700 was blackout and wasn't turning on. However, I couldn't find any solution in this community and was disheartened by the frustrating messages from the users with the same history. Last of all a Bangladeshi mechanic fixed the problem of my BB 9700 and I'm quite happily using my BB Bold 9700 now.
