Hi new menber here.
I dont have any experience using blackberry phones, having used Nokia;s for several years now.
I am considering upgrading to a b/b bold at the end of Oct and just wanted to know if they are complicated to get used to.The basic usage would be to make & receive calls, e-mails and minimal web surfing. My E-mail server is BTyahoo and would it be compatable to push the E-mails to the bold or would i have to use some other software to do this,
My current mobile is with O2 but after reading the post's on this forum it would appear that Orange seem's to be the prefared choice.
Anyway any help or advised would be much appreciated before i make the plunge. Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forums!
Many people will have opions based on there experiances and level of tech ability.
I think your best bet is to use the search upper left (grey) and search for the types of problems encountered, and the resolutions.
This would give you an unbiased look at the track record of the phone.

The BlackBerry bold is a lot simpler to use than all previous BlackBerry models released. Sooner or later, you will be more attached to your BlackBery than your computer
The Bold certainly supports Yahoo! and Windows Live Hotmail (not sure about GMail though), so all you need to do is go through the email setup application and supply your username and password, and you're all set my friend!
The menu system is simple and straightforward. The trackball (the crysal ball on the device) is a pleasure to use and makes navigating through the device's menu a breeeeeze.
Personally, I am BlackBerry Bold user who came from several models of Nokia E-series phones and an iPhone 2G. And to be honest, I wouldn't exchange my Bold with any of 'em.
I am glad you're considering a BlackBerry and I am certain you wont regret it, most BlackBerry owners don't!
I hope this helps!
