Blackberry ID not working on phone

I have had my id for 3yrs now and had 2 phones in that time. Tonight I removed my battery for a moment and then when the phone booted up it requests I log in with my id. It said it was incorrect so I went online and reset it and logged in online successfully. Restarted the phone and tried the password and it still won't work. I want to know how to fix this & why its happened.

 

I don't want to do a device wipe because it says I won't be able to send or recieve emails from the email address I've been using on the phone for 3 yrs.

What is the exact and complete error message, please? There are several possibilities, and the exact one will determine the proper course of action for you.
