I have had and my wife and daughter both have a Pearl which is fast to snap a photo and recover. I have tried to take about 8 pictures with my new Storm and the camera response is (literally timed) averaging 3 seconds or longer to take a single still photo (portrait style) of my dog sleeping or of the sunrise, or simply my desk phone.
Considering most older BB's with camera's have had very very good camera services including push-to-click-to-snapshot response; why has the new Storm's camera service been deployed with all but worthless services except for the 3.2MP capability? The phone needs a tripod and a remote to take a decent picture!
I realize its a robust device with the click features, but I'm having a problem dealing with the "no value" camera service?
Is there a software fix that should be applied, or possibly will be, to the camera services of the phone?

The Verizon 9530 Storm?
A number of users are commenting in many forums that the .75 OS upgrade from Verizon is 'fixing' many of the 9530 issues, but alas, I also am reading that the camera lag is not one of them.
