Blackberry Update - Backup Your Data App Error 603

I recently got an update that required a backup. I left my phone on over night. I woke up and discovered an App Error 603. I clicked reset, then it restarted the phone. However, it takes me back to the backup your data screen at 0%. Then an application permerssion notice comes up with Allow or Deny. I try to click either one and it freezes and goes back to the App Error 603 notice. Any help?

Can you try opening Desktop Manager on your PC, connecting the BB to it via USB, and restarting the BB while it's connected?

Desktop Manager should intercept the boot process and prompt you that an update can be applied (if it has not been applied yet).

Desktop manager can't connect to my BB. A message pops up and says can't communicate with the device. It gives me the option to retry, update or close. When I press retry the same message comes up, when i press update it says I already  have the latest version.

 

P.S.

 

When it reboots it goes straight to the back up/software update page and freezes following an application permission message.
