I am tearing my hair out after wasting two days on phone calls with Orange who tell me there is no problem with my contract and that I must phone Blackberry!! The two phone numbers I have been given in different phone calls go through to the wrong BB department and they can't give me a correct number!!!!
When I try to access App World on my Bold 9700, I get the following message:
'You are currently on a service plan that requires a Wi-Fi connection to use this application. If you want to use this application outside of Wi-Fi, please contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan'.
PLEASE can someone help me????

1. Orange should escalate to RIM free of charge any issue they cannot resolve themselves. They know they can do this and you may need to demand it.
2. You do have a valid BlackBerry Data Plan? Do you have your mobile network connected to Orange enabled? In other words, you are not trying to use your BlackBerry with WiFi only and your mobile network turned off?

Thanks for your reply. I have wasted so many times talking to different people at Orange but I guess I will have to try one more time!!
Yes I do have the right data plan, and yes I have checked that I have the mobile network activated. Emailing and internet access are no problem, it is only when I try to access BB App World, arrrggghhh!!
