Dear All Can someone out there help because I am going nuts with my BB.
I am in a location were cellophane service provider doesn't supply data service/BB services, but I have always relied on the wireless connection to be able to access my BB services. But on the past 10 days my BB services stopped working. The BB icon that usually is on the right hand side of the device disappeared, and since then no more e-mails, BBM, FB , etc.
I have switch off and on, removed the SIM card and put it back. And nothing. I have then ran the BB desktop program to check weather there was any software update and there was but the update doesn't go through it keeps on failing to establish the connection, even though I am connected through USB cable. Well I don't know whether this update is influencing but it is worrying me the way the things are now.
Can someone help me with this? I would very much appreciate it.

My friend.. Area were the cellphone company doesn't supply 3G or 2G. I have used my BB services through wireless before whilst I was here. That's why I am asking for help. Besides I am not the only person with BB in the same place. My colleges do have their BB working through wireless.

Well, it helps that you supply additional information.
What mobile operator are your "colleges" using? Is it the same one you're using?
I don't even know where you are.

We are all connected to the same cellphone company. But one uses the cellphone company to have access to their BB services they use the wireless from the office. The same that I am using.
I am connected to the wireless and eventually I would receive FB notifications or Whatsapp notifications. But this happens very seldomly, but my BBM is not working, and even browsing in the net I am not capable.

Please look at your Manage Connections screen.
Click on the Services Status.
What is the status next to "BlackBerry Internet Service"?

On my Blackberry internet service is saying not connected. It should be connected to the WI-FI. I have checked on my collegues on theirs is connected through WI-FI. I have my wireless on and is connected to the office WI-Fi but I not able to use it.

Ughh... so you're talking about this whole time trying to connect through WiFi. Ok, I didn't know that.
At your Manage Connections > Mobile Network screen... do you have Data Services ON, OFF , or while Roaming ON or Off?

Then, additional things you might try:
1) Register HRT: (OS5) Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > Scoll to any line entry and > press the Menu key > and then click Register Now.
If you have an OS 6 device, Look at Options > Device > Advanced... etc.
2) Resend Service Books: KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
You need to do this from your PC.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you!
