I am having difficulty with my Blackberry Bold 9900. I installed the blackberry desktop software but it does not recognize my password, I went to the Blackberry Sign In page with my userid and password and it works. So it seems the Blackberry Desktop Manager is not synced and it's not asking me for the userid to verify.
How can I get around this as I don't want to use up the limited amount of times I am allowed to try to log in!

Welcome to the support community!
You shouldn't need to enter your BlackBerry ID password into the BlackBerry Desktop Software when connecting. It should prompt for the security password you use to lock your BlackBerry smartphone when you connect it with a usb cable.
